Antique English Victorian Mahogany Bookcase with Glazed Doors, Early 20th Century

Elegant English bookcase in the Victorian style, dating to the early 20th century. The upper section features two central glazed doors enhanced by elegant wooden crossbars arranged in geometric X-shaped patterns, making it ideal for displaying books, antique volumes and collectible objects. On either side are two solid doors decorated with veneered panels showcasing the striking flame-like grain of mahogany, framed by mouldings and fine inlay lines that emphasise the decorative design.

The lower section consists of a frieze with three drawers, embellished with shaped mouldings and metal handles, and four panelled doors that echo the decorative details and rich grain patterns of the upper section. The moulded cornice and the clean, balanced lines of the base give the piece a solid, harmonious and distinguished appearance.
