Antique English print from the second half of the 19th century depicting the death of the girl Elaine, with a passage by the writer Alfred Lord Tennyson taken from Lancelot and Elaine passage from the collection Idylls of the King [1859-1885] :

"Elaine the fair elaine the lovable Elaine the lily maid of Astolat".

Passage in which the love story between the young girl and Lancelot is told.
