French chest of drawers from the second half of the 19th century, in Transition style, made of mahogany and rosewood.
The piece of furniture features six drawers arranged in three rows, a Rosso Francia marble top shaped along the perimeter, gilded bronze applications and inlay fillets in light woods.
A finely executed work, characterised by an elegant balance between neoclassical sobriety and the rocaille taste typical of the Transition style.
