Splendid Dutch antique Bureau Bookcase from the 1700s in inlaid walnut root

Splendid walnut antique Bureau Bookcase richly inlaid with floral motifs typical of Dutch manufacturing. Over 10 polychrome woods present in the inlay. The lower body is divided into 4 drawers, with a wavy front and resting on plinth-shaped feet at the back and curled feet at the front, in vogue until around 1770: this is a more refined typology than the more common vase or inverted pear shape. The upper body has two closed doors shaped and inlaid also inside, on the solid oak. Original locks and hardware. Inside the drawer, the cabinet is divided into small drawers and open compartments, in addition to the sliding top. The piece of furniture is completed by two candlestick rods.
