Splendid ebony mantel clock with Boulle workmanship, rich in gilt bronze and tortoiseshell inlays. The dial is in enamelled porcelain with Roman numerals. The upper part is surmounted by a bronze sculpture depicting the Greek god Cronus, ruler of time, sitting on a sphere representing the world.
